Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa has been impeached by members of the Assembly.

Obasa has been accused by the lawmakers of multiple statutory and financial infractions.

Information at our disposal has it that Obasa has been replaced by his deputy, Lasbat Meranda.

For those who don’t know, Hon. Lasbat Meranda was the chief whip of the House. She represents Apapa Constituency 1.
