Oba Folagbade Olateru Olagbegi, Olowo of Owo in Ondo State is dead. He died on the night of Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the age of 77.

He was appointed Chancellor of the University of Benin in 2005 and later Chancellor University of Abuja. Before his demise he was Chancellor of the University of Jos and former Chairman of the Ondo council of Obas.
