NPA Boss, Hadiza Usman In N165 Billion Scandal

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) suspended Managing Director, Hadiza Bala Usman is in big trouble.

Insiders squealed to us that she was suspended because she failed to remit an outstanding balance of N165.32 billion from 2017 to 2018.

We gathered that Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi wrote President Muhammadu Buhari via a March 4 letter to complain that the NPA had not remitted an “operating surplus of N165 billion to the consolidated revenue fund account (CFR) from 2o16 till date”, citing information from the budget office.

Our sources added that she was suspended and now being probed because of the N165 billion mess.
