Senator Ned Nwoko has reacted to the rumour making the rounds that he is planning to defect from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Director General of the Ned Nwoko Campaign Organisation, Leonard Esegbue debunked the allegations.
He said: “The alleged defection from the APC is the work of mischief makers jealous of Senator Nwoko’s rising political influence.”
“Senator Nwoko remains fully committed to the APC, there is no rift between Nwoko and President Bola Tinubu.”
“The speculation is aimed at sowing discord ahead of the 2027 general elections, for which Nwoko is a staunch supporter of the President’s re-election bid.”
“The rumours are baseless and only serve to create unnecessary tension. Senator Nwoko is fully aligned with the APC’s mission and will continue to pursue his political agenda within the party.”
“Those spreading the rumours should engage in meaningful political discourse instead of circulating false information. Any future political decisions or announcements involving Nwoko will be made within the framework of the APC.”
