Popular Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi (Oluwatosin Ajibade), has confessed that he could not have afforded to sponsor his wedding to billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola’s daughter, Temi Otedola, with just his earnings from music.

Mr Eazi made the shocking confession during an interaction with fans on Friday on X (formerly Twitter).

This comes after a fan had suggested that Mr Eazi was trying to recoup his wedding expenses by releasing his new track, “Cassanova”.

Responding, Mr Eazi said:

“U think sey music go fit pay for that wedding my G? lol”.

Another fan insinuated and wrote:

“Say ‘my music now’ because 2017-18 Mr Eazi music go do that wedding as many times as possible. No forget say you were once a taker.”

Reacting, Mr Eazi said:

“You got a point tho, but 2017-18 is the brokest I’ve been in the last 9 years! But all the music I put out then enter like mad sha. I’m really thankful.”
