The construction of the ongoing pedestrian bridge at Berger Bus Stop along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is in response to yearnings from residents to enable pedestrians navigate both sides of the ever busy Berger Bus-stop where some persons have lost their lives in the past in an attempt to cross the road.

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode graciously approved the immediate construction of the Bridge with the contractor, China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) moving to site.

The work has commenced in earnest and is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
