Lagos Speaker, Obasa In Trouble

Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa is in hot soup.

Insiders squealed to us that most of his colleagues are angry with him and hellbent on sacking him.

The lawmakers are said to be bitter over how N2.4billion was spent within 11 months to procure 80 cars for the 40 members of the House.

Those in the know told us that the Speaker was furious that such information considered ‘top secret’ was leaked to the press. He was said to have accused the affected principal officers; Mr. Rotimi Abiru; Mr. Olumuyiwa Jimoh; Mr. Moshood Oshun, and Mr. Raheem Kazeem of disclosing the information, which exposed the House to public scrutiny.
