I’m The Next Delta Governor – Sen. Okowa

Ifeanyi OkowaSenator Ifeanyi Okowa has told all those who cared to listen that he is going to succeed incumbent Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State. The senator was so full of confidence recently at a rally in Asaba, capital of Delta State where he addressed his supporters.

The PDP governorship aspirant equally confessed to his supporters that he has no quarrel with the governor of Delta State. He said that the governor is his mentor, Oga and best friend. He even boasted that come May 2014 he would move into the Governor’s Office as successor to Gov. Uduaghan. Hear him; “I was the first Director-General of Emmanuel Uduaghan Campaign Organization and when it is time to hand over, he will hand over to me. Gov. Uduaghan knows that I am the best candidate for Delta State. This project is divine and God has approved of it, hence there is no one that can stop us”.

People are saying in political circles in Delta State that the long time friendship between the senator and Gov. Uduaghan has gone cold since his alleged support for Tony Obuh, a retired civil servant to succeed him as governor of the state.
