Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has dumped the Young Progressive Party (YPP) like a bad habit.

The senator representing Anambra South has now joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

His defection letter was read on the floor of the Senate on Thursday, October 12th, 2023 by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

According to the letter, Ubah said was defecting to the APC because of irreconciliable differences in the YPP.

Ubah won the senatorial election under the YPP in the February 25 general election.
