Ifeanyi Ubah Defeats Andy, Chris Uba

Capital Oil and Gas boss, Ifeanyi Ubah has emerged winner of the Anambra South Senatorial District in the Saturday, February 23, 2019 election.

Ifeanyi Ubah who contested on the platform of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), defeated the Uba brothers; Andy and Chris Ubah, candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) respectively.

The Capital Oil and Gas boss polled 87, 081 votes to emerge winner and the first elected senator for the Young Progressives Party (YPP).

Meanwhile, his closest rival, Chris Uba of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 62,462 votes while his brother, Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) got 13,245 votes.
