Governor Adams Oshimhole took time off the state congress of the All Progressives Congress to reply Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who recently defected to the opposition party in the state PDP in Edo State. The Governor while addressing party delegates at the state congress of the party said that what is happening in the state APC will free the party from the grip of godfathers who want to divert the state resources for their selfish interest. According to the Governor, “I wish all those who have defected from our party, the APC safe journey, I cannot be intimidated to use state resources to service few leaders of the party who are obviously not interested in the welfare of the people. I was elected to serve the people and not the few privileged who want to deploy the state resource for their selfish purpose.
