This is not the best of moment for Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State following the death of his younger brother, Dr. Wummen Tsenba Bako.

Sources close to the family disclosed to us that Dr. Wummen who was a Senior Lecturer at University of Jos in the Department of Management and Accounting, died on Monday night, 25th September, 2017 in Jos after a protracted illness.
However, the office of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (UNIJOS Chapter) has confirmed the death: “Yes, His Excellency, the governor lost his brother. I just spoke with our (ASUU) representative in his Faculty. May his soul rest in peace.”
