Senator Dino Melaye has accused Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State of sending thugs to attack him at the Kabba Day celebration recently.

Dino Melaye’s Special Assistant on Media, Gideon Ayodele in a statement said that: “Two out of the Ebira boys that attacked him in Kabba on Saturday were sent by Kogi State Government but were arrested by the Police but later granted bail following the intervention of the state apparatus.”

“The governor and his entourage as were angered by Melaye’s glorious outing at the occasion. The thugs also invaded his Constituency office, in Kabba, and shot sporadically, apparently with a belief that he was at the building to commission the facility.”
