The cold political war between the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa and Hon. Funmi Tejuosho has taken a new dimension. The Former Deputy Speaker of the House and one of the most senior members, Hon. Funmi Tejuosho right on the floor of the House protested and rejected the chairmanship of the House Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, Public Relations and LASIEC which the Speaker appointed her to head.
Those who witnessed the show on the floor of the House of Assembly told us that immediately the Speaker finished announcing the committee and their heads, Hon. Funmi Tejuosho spoke through the microphone rejecting the position. But the Speaker ignored her and adjourned the House.
