Just retired Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation, Mrs. Nkechi Ejele is in hot soup. Insiders at the EFCC said she is now in the agency’s custody explaining her role in the alleged mismanagement of about N500 billion SURE-P funds given to the ministry between 2013 and 2014 when she was in charge as the permanent secretary.

Insiders at the EFCC told us that she will surely reveal other people involved in the alleged fraud of N500 billion as she may not want to suffer and go down alone over the huge amount of money.

We gathered that those who headed the ministry when the alleged fraud was committed have started speaking in tongues looking for escape root out of the problem.
