Daily Times Publisher, Fidelis Onosike has been remanded in prison. A Chief Magistrate’s Court in Abuja on Tuesday January 16th, 2018 remanded him and his brother, Noel Anosike in prison for allegedly impersonating ownership of the Daily Times Newspapers.

We gathered that the Anosike brothers were arraigned before the Mpape Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday morning on charges of criminal conspiracy, fraud and theft. They were arrested by the police on Monday over the offense.
Recall that the two brothers have been enmeshed in a long-drawn court battle for the ownership of Daily Times Newspaper.
However, Ikechukwu Obiorah, a former Nigerian senator had before now sued Fidelis and Noel Anosike, accusing them of forging Daily Times documents and claiming ownership of the newspaper. He also accused them of opening bank accounts with which they allegedly used to receive billions of naira during the paper’s 91st Anniversary.
Mr. Obiorah further accused the brothers of receiving N100 million from him for a non-existing printing house in Abuja.
