Edo 2024: Bini Socio-cultural Group Wants Osaro Onaiwu To Vie for PDP Ticket

A Bini socio-cultural group in Lagos-IVBEDO, has asked the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the state and Gov. Godwin Obaseki to cede the party’s 2024 governorship ticket to businessman cum politician, Earl Osaro Onaiwu.

According to the group, the former director general of the Saraki 2023 Presidential Campaign Organisation, is the only one capable of uniting Edo people in the forthcoming election next year.

A statement by the Chairman of the group, Mr. Osadolor Adun said that:

“Onaiwu has shown capacity and competence in every area both in public and private sector and has demonstrated that he has what it takes to move the state forward if elected governor.”

The group said it has sent emissaries to Onaiwu, an entrepreneur, impresario and socialite, to throw his hat in the ring and battle for the ticket of the PDP for the election.

Onaiwu, founding DG of PDP governors forum and former Director-General of the Nigeria Governors Forum is a former gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the 2016 Edo State governorship election.

Earl Onaiwu studied Mass Communication at the Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State. He is also a graduate of International Institute of Journalism, Abuja. He is the founder of fashion houses Jalomeseki Couture and Osaronno, Africa’s first all white bespoke menswear brand.

Onaiwu is popular with his Red Carpet Protocol, a reputation management consultancy, established in 2006, which serves the corporate needs of the 36 state governments till date.

Onaiwu’s Orovie Group, plays big in real estate, hospitality and media. He is also heavily involved in a charitable organisation called Joy Osaro-Onaiwu Foundation.
