Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs, governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Rivers State has been sacked by a Federal High Court in Port Harcourt.
Justice E.A Obile in a five-hour judgement said Dumo Lulu-Briggs did not participate in the primaries of Accord Party (AP) and should not be the beneficiary of the Governorship ticket.
The court stressed that Precious Baridoo who contested the party primary did not in any time relinquished his candidature to anyone.
The court, therefore, ordered that the name of Dumo be removed and replaced with Precious Baridoo, warning that Lulu-Briggs should stop parading himself as the governorship candidate of the Accord Party.
