That Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya has been sacked as the speaker of Delta State House of Assembly by his colleagues is an established fact. But millions of Nigerians don’t actually know why he was kicked out of the exalted position.
We can tell you for free the reasons he was removed. Insiders disclosed to us that he was impeached over allegations of financial misappropriation and highhandedness. We were told that the lawmakers have been planning to remove the speaker for some time now. But they thought he will change his ways and when they saw that he was not ready to turn a new leaf they met as early as 7am on Thursday 11th May, 2017 and sacked him.
The lawmakers also suspended him for 3months. He was replaced by the member representing Okpe Constituency, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori.
