Information at our disposal has it that thugs have taken over Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.

We gathered that the thugs were allegedly hired by the aggrieved member of the house, Hon. Idongesit Ituen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who was sacked by the Federal High Court in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Sources squealed to us that when the embattled lawmaker got to know about Monday, November 19, 2018 plenary in commemoration of the 80th birthday of ex-Governor Victor Attah by the State House of Assembly, he quickly organized the thugs to disrupt the session so as to stop the Speaker from declaring his seat vacant.

We were informed that the thugs who appeared in numbers barricaded the Assembly Complex therefore stopping lawmakers from gaining entrance into the complex.
