Copyright Society Of Nigeria (COSON) is in big trouble as the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on March 25th, 2020 struck out its name from the register of companies in Nigeria.

The judgment was in a suit filed by the Musical Copyright Society Nigeria (MCSN) since 2009.

MSCN Spokesman, Halim Mohammed said that with this judgment, COSON is legally dead and ceases to exist.
