Commissioner Killed

Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson’s former Commissioner for Investment, Trade and Industry, Mr. Ayakeme Masa has been shot dead by gunmen.

The ex-Commissioner, 64-years and father of three children was shot in the early hours of Sunday December 10th, 2017 at his residence along Plam Avenue, behind Bolex Lounge in Yenagoa but later gave up his ghost in the evening of Monday December 11th at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Yenagoa.

Intelligent report reveals that the said killers had visited the former Commissioner’s house for undisclosed reasons and they were in the midst of an argument with the wife when he walked in.

Sources squealed that immediately he saw the gunmen, he tried to escape but he was shot. The security man called for help and he was taken to the FMC where Doctors battled to save his life before he eventually gave up the ghost.

Meanwhile, spokesman, Bayelsa State Police Command, Asimin Butswat has confirmed the incident.
