Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church has taken over Evangel House, National Headquarters of Assemblies of God Nigeria located at Independence Layout in Enugu.

The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris approved the handover of the Secretariat to Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor after the Supreme Court released the enrollment order of its February 24^th Judgement. The Chief Bailiff of the Supreme Court was on ground to hand over the Headquarters of the Church back to the Church.

Before now, Rev. Chidi Okoroafor has vowed to flush out sacked General Superintendent, Rev. Paul Emeka from the church’s national secretariat ever since Rev. Paul Emeka sacking was affirmed by the Supreme Court. The leadership crisis tore the church into two factions. Several attempts to flush out Rev. Emeka Paul from the secretariat in the past resulted to violent clashes.
