Buhari/Osibanjo Campaign Office Set Ablaze

President Muhammadu Buhari and his deputy, Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s campaign office in Enugu State has been burnt down by hoodlums.

We gathered that two buses branded Buhari/Osibanjo campaign’ and the campaign office of one of the All Progressives Congress (APC), factional governorship candidate in the state, Mr. George Tagbo Ogara were on Saturday, December 22, 2018 set ablaze.

The factional governorship candidate, Ogara had claimed that the Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) were used to destroy his buses and campaign office by hoodlums but does not know where they came from or who sent them.

According to Ogara , “Improvised Explosive Device (IED), bomb is not a matter a civilian like me can intervene. The police and DSS will investigate that matter.”

Meanwhile, those in the know told us that Ogara is currently embroiled in a legal battle with his party (APC), for publishing the name of a former Senator Ayogu Eze, as its candidate for the 2019 election.

We also gathered that Ogara had taken his party to court and is claiming right to the governorship ticket. We learnt the case will be up for hearing on January 10, 2019 at an Abuja Federal High Court.
