23-year-old Michael Ohkide is now on the run after allegedly stabbing his father, Barr. Clement Okhide and his mother, Toyin to death at their residence in Afeez Gbadamosi Street, Ejigbo, Lagos on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

Sources told us that the boy who is into music also stabbed his sister in the stomach and hand.

We gathered that the boy is a drug addict and would have killed his parents due to his uncontrollable urge to get some of the illicit drugs at all costs.

A source said; “His late father, Barr. Clement Okhide, (60years) is a lawyer and a no-nonsense man, he had been warning him against taking illicit drugs but he wouldn’t listen. There had been an altercation between them several times.”

Sources told us that the boy is the first child of his parents…

“The couple had three children. Michael has gone to three private universities but could not complete his education because of drugs.”

A family source said; “It is unfortunate that my brother and his wife lost their lives in the process of trying to ensure he turned a new leaf. Michael has been a thorn in the entire family’s flesh. If you cautioned him, he would snap at you and warn you to mind your business.”
