Bayern Munich Football Club has sacked its manager, Carlo Ancelotti after losing 3-0 to Paris St-Germain in a Champions league march on Wednesday, 27th September, 2017. Assistant manager, Willy Sagnol will take temporary charge.
The club’s Chief Executive, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has given reasons why the 58years old manager was relieved of his job: “The performance of our team since the start of the season did not meet the expectations we put to them.”
“I would like to thank Carlo for his cooperation. Carlo is my friend and will remain my friend, but we had to make a professional decision. The game in Paris clearly showed that we had to draw consequences.”
