Nigerian Football Federation boss, Mr. Amaju Pinnick is in trouble. In a petition before the EFCC, he has been accused of awarding a N150 million contract to his own company. The petitioners; National Association of Sports Industry and Market revealed that the Delta State born sports administrator allegedly awarded the contract of furnishing the new secretariat of NFF, the Sunday Dankaro Football House, Package B, National Stadium, Abuja to Valerino Interiors at the cost of N150 million using Mr. Obi Nwosu as a front.
That is not all; the petitioners added that the NFF under the leadership of Mr. Amaju Pinnick allegedly misappropriated the FIFA grant given to it for the development of Women and Grassroots Sports in 2015 and the grant for Super Eagles qualification for the 2014 World Cup. The petitioners led by Mohammed Abubakar and David Anore want the EFCC to pick up the NFF boss to answer questions on these massive fraud allegations rocking the NFF.
