That Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State snubbed the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is an absolute fact.
The secret war between the two political heavyweights became obvious on Thursday, September 7, 2018 when the Ondo State governor declined to shake hands with Tinubu at the APC rally in Osogbo, Osun State ahead of the September 22 governorship election in the state.
There are insinuations that their political war started when the APC national leader gave his full supported and backing to Olusegun Abraham, being his anointed candidate against Akeredolu in the Ondo State governorship primary, which Akeredolu eventually won before going on to win the election proper.
Those in the know revealed to us that Governor Akeredolu is still very bitter with Tinubu for turning his back at him in the Ondo State governorship election.
