Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Aisha Buhari is now in America for a one week activity. She landed in Obama’s country on Wednesday (yesterday) and she has not been arrested for any crime. Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has been saying that she is involved in Jefferson bribery scandal and she is wanted in the USA. But Her Excellency is going about in the USA a free woman.

Sources disclosed to us that Her Excellency arrived in Washing DC on Wednesday evening for a visit that will last for couple of days. We also gathered that the wife of the president of Nigeria arrived in America in a British Airways flight from London and she is billed to attend a number of events before returning back to Nigeria.

Meanwhile, investigations have proven that Her Excellency is not mentioned in the Halliburton Scandal. Interestingly, Governor Ayodele has on several occasions criticized Aisha Buhari saying that she cannot enter America because she would be arrested following her alleged involvement in the Halliburton scandal where her name was mentioned in the case of William Jefferson who was convicted on corruption charges in 2009, and to whom Aisha Buhari allegedly wired the sum of $170,000 is suddenly becoming a mirage for the Ekiti State governor. Be that as it may, investigations have revealed that the Aisha Buhari that was mention in the court paper in reference is not the President Buhari’s wife. Consequently, Aisha Buhari has sued Governor Ayodele Fayose over his allegations.

We further gathered that Her Excellency will be attending series of meetings at the George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and that she will also be hosted by the United States Institute of Peace in collaboration with Voice of America, and she will as well be attending the 25th Anniversary celebration of Zumunta Association USA Inc. before she finally returns back to Nigeria.
