50-year-old Abdullahi Sani and a father of seven children has been brought before a Katsina State Senior Magistrates’ Court for reportedly raping a 3year-old girl to death.

The man, we gathered is a labourer residing at Jabiri Quarters, Funtua, Katsina where he was said to have violated the innocent girl. According to the police, Sani will be facing charges of rape and culpable homicide which is contrary to sections 283 and 221 of the Penal Code Law.

However, police report states that: “Sani called the victim who was three years old and of the same address and took her to an uncompleted building, covered her mouth and raped her. In the process, she died instantly.”

Meanwhile, Magistrate Abdulkadiri Umar has ordered that Sani should be remanded in the prison custody till December 18, 2017 for mentioning. The prosecutor told the court that Sani and the victim’s father, Ibrahim Abdullahi, lived in the same house at Jabiri Quarters, Funtua.
