2019 General Election Not Do Or Die Affair – Ogun Speaker

Rt. Honourable Suraj Adekunbi, Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly has urged politicians and political bigots in the State not to take the 2019 elections as a do or die affair.

He gave this advice at Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area while fielding questions from journalists.

He said political players should tread softly and allow people to freely choose candidates of their choices for the elective positions, so as not to compromise the peace and tranquillity of the State.

The Speaker said; “If people want you, they will vote for you. The peoples’ wish should count without any form of violence and they should be allowed to protect their vote during election.”

Adekunbi while appreciating the Almighty God for the gift of life, urged residents of the State to continue supporting Senator Ibikunle Amosun led-administration on its ongoing infrastructural development in the state.
