Yvonne Nelson Escapes Assault In Glo’s Professor Johnbull

Yvonne NelsonGhanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, got more than she bargained for when she made a guest appearance in episode 3 of Season Two of Globacom’s TV drama series, Professor Johnbull.

The beautiful actress escaped being sexually assaulted in the episode which is tagged “Selfie Stick”. What exactly transpired and how she was rescued will be revealed in the episode which goes on air at 8.30 p.m. on Tuesday on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 215 and NTA on Startimes.

According to Globacom, “Selfie Stick” tries to draw attention to the dangers posed by abuse of smart phones and ‘selfies’. It noted that smart phones and the social media platforms have helped make the world a global village, but added that they could also have negative implications on individuals and society if not well handled.

“The new episode is fittingly tagged Selfie Stick to underscore how serious the abuse of smart phones, social media platforms and the crave for selfie sticks among the young generation has become,” Globacom stated.

“Selfie Stick is as didactic as it is humorous. It is one of our modest ways of stirring the conscience of our young generation to explore more the positive sides of the advancement the world has made in science and technology. It is an episode parents cannot afford to miss as it serves as a guide for all and sundry,” Globacom added.

Viewers will see the different ways young smart  phone users abuse the instrument, and get counsel from Professor Johnbull on the right use of smart phones.

Kanayo O. Kanayo,  Queen Nwokoye, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Funky Mallam, Ime Okon, Bidemi Kosoko, Martins Neboh and  Stephen Odimgbe all feature in the edition.

The repeat broadcast of Selfie Stick  comes up at the same time on Friday on the stated channels.
