National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in Katsina State were attacked by natives of the state. According to reports, we gathered that their offence was that they were living together while they are not married.

However, the male corps member was attacked and he was beaten and bloodied while the female corps member suffered a worse fate as her thumb was cut off.
