Nigeria Former Military Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (retd.) has finally accepted being the father of Mr. Musa Gowon after 48 years paternity legal battle.

Musa Yakubu Gowon, 48year old born to Nigeria’s former military Head of State, General Yakabu Gowon (retd.) and late Edith Ike Okongu who was pardoned by President Barrack Obama in 2015 after being confined to the American prison for 22years, cutting short the 40 years jail term he was supposed to serve after finding him guilty of alleged drug related crime in November 18, 1992.

Be that as it may, sources squealed to us that Musa was a product of a romance between General Yakubu Gowon (retd.), the then military ruler to Nigeria and Edith Ike Okongu who we learnt ended the love affairs with Gowon because of the way the Igbos were treated, maimed and killed during the Nigerian Civil War under the government of the man she claimed to be in love with. Consequently, Edith was said to have left Nigeria with pregnancy, a product of the romance with the then Former Head of State to settle in the United States of America where she eventually gave birth to Musa.

We gathered recently that the Ex-Nigerian Head Of State, Gowon, has finally accepted the 48 years old son after a DNA test. We learnt General Yakubu Gowon (retd.) has without doubt confirmed the paternity of his son, Musa who was recently deported from the United States. General Gowon (retd.) announced recently that the DNA test had proven Musa Jack Ngodadi is his biological son.
