The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a woman identified as Aderonke Ayinde who attempted to dump the lifeless body of her lover, Asimi Abiodun in a nearby bush.

Speaking on the crime, the Command’s Spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, narrated that;

“Mr. Asimi Abiodun was a man-friend of the suspect, he came to spend the night with her at her Abeokuta residence, but died in a questionable manner. The suspect later in the night, attempted to dump the body in a nearby bush not knowing that somebody around the area was observing the whole thing.”

“On interrogation, the suspect claimed that the deceased was her long-time lover who used to pass the night in her place. However, on that fateful day, he came as usual, but suddenly developed a strange illness in the night and before she could call for help, he gave up the ghost. She confessed that she wanted to dump the body out of fear.”
