Former Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State is in big trouble.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has dragged him into Courtroom 5 of the Federal High Court in Abuja for arraignment.

Sources said Obiano was escorted into the courtroom by more than 10 operatives of the EFCC.

Sources squealed that the former governor was brought into the court premises around 8am in an 18-seater Toyota Bus and kept inside the vehicle for some minutes before he was moved into the courtroom.

We gathered that over 50 lawyers are already inside the courtroom.

According to sources Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo who is billed to take his plea in the criminal charges is being awaited while the officials of the court are already on standby.

Obiano is to face trial in a nine-count charge over alleged N4 billion fraud brought against him by the Federal Government through the EFCC.
