Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has slammed former Rivers State Governor and African Democratic Congress (ADC) vice-presidential candidate for the 2027 election, Rotimi Amaechi.

Wike accused Amaechi of causing a pregnant woman to give birth in prison while he was governor of Rivers State.

Wike made the allegation on Wednesday during a recent media chat with selected journalists.

He said, “Rotimi Amaechi, who wants to be vice president today, once shut down the court in Rivers State and made a pregnant woman to give birth in prison.”

He added, “I’m sitting today as Minister of the FCT, who is seen as the governor of the FCT, and I call for the courts to shut down.”
