Be that as it may, we learnt that Oliseh made the decision to resign his appointment following the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) inability to meet contract terms such as unpaid wages, benefits to players, assistant coaches and himself, lack of support, etc.

However, Sunday Oliseh has had several challenges since taking over the coaching job of the Nigerian Super Eagles which as a result forced the team’s former captain, Vicent Enyeama to resign. He also had issues with several other senior players in the team. Nevertheless, Oliseh coaching prowess became questionable after him and his boys were oust from the CHAN competition in Rwanda.
