Why Dayo Adeneye Lost At APC Primary Election

Dayo-AdeneyeThe bid to join other showbiz stars in political arena by Dayo Adeneye D-1 suffered a great setback as the Prime Time presenter lost at the primary election of the Ogun House of Assembly aspirants on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC held at Odogbolu State Constituency on 2nd of December 2014.

According to party faithfuls, the popular AIT and Ray Power presenter lost the election not only as a result of being a green horn in Ogun politics but also because the residents of the area rejected him for being an “imported” politician.

D-1 as popularly called by fans is said to have never been close to the people of Odogbolu town despite his claims to have hailed from the ancient town when he joined partisan politics recently.

Even though the popular presenter was reported to have invested millions of naira in his political project but he was outwitted by his opponent who won the election in a landslide victory due to his closeness to the incumbent Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
