The Senator representing Lagos Central and the wife of APC leader, Senator Oluremi Tinubu said the network of APC in the country is getting stronger.  This former Lagos First Lady also remarked that Nigerians will get the best from the leadership of APC at the central government of the nation. She spoke more in this interview with Top Celebrities Magazine.

You really touched the lives of people of your senatorial area last year with lots of projects particularly the women empowerment, is it going to continue this year?

Yes, by God’s grace, since I am still in the senate, our job is to continue to find out ways by which development can come to the area. One of our duties is oversight function; last year, we did the best we could and this year too I believe there will be improvements and I know that our people have seen reasons why they have to support APC in the forthcoming election because APC will really bring all the expected change.

What of the issue of gender equity which you are so much concerned about, is the APC having a place for this agenda too?

Yes, if you check the number of women under APC now in various political offices; you still understand that APC has the highest number of women in government, this is just the beginning. When we take over the central government, women will get  their fair share in governance, so I encourage women to stand up and join APC in order to give them their own place in government.

We have asked you times without number whether you will retain your seat at the senate, what is your view?

You have always asked this question and I  have always answered you too that our party has that power to decide at what capacity they want you to serve. Although the people too would decide, so it depends on the people and other party members to decide whether I will be there or not.

Are you still eying the vice president seat come 2015?          

When that came up, we were in ACN but now we are in APC, so you can see the difference but whatever God says about that, let it be.

Some men of God have given your husband prophecies to be careful with his health, as his wife would you caution him not to be too active about the next coming election?

Those men of God that revealed this have opened up the secret of the enemies, so it cannot work again though we thank them for their love but I know God will continue to protect him. He is the leader of the party and his followers follow him but thank God that the devil has failed.
