The party chairman squealed that… “The defection of Adeniran is painful. Adeniran remains one the founding fathers of the party, I expected him to join hands with me and other leaders of the party to rebuild it in order to be able to wrest power from the ruling All Progressives Congress.”

Meanwhile, Prof. Tunde Adeniran had revealed that he left the PDP for the SDP alongside his supporters because there was no internal democracy in the party.
