Tonye Cole Opens Up On Rotimi Amaechi

Former Rivers State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tonye Cole has shared his thoughts on former Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, in light of their differing political goals and ambitions.

He said: “I have the goal to become governor of Rivers State. After running for two times and could not get the seat, I frame my latest bid as a third time lucky effort. I am determined to clinch the position after years of political engagement.”

“Rotimi Amaechi played a pivotal role in introducing me into politics.”

“Amaechi is now pursuing the presidency, I remain focused on Rivers state.”

“I remain committed to the APC and have no intention of following Amaechi to the African Democratic Congress, ADC.”

“Nobody can take away the fact that he brought me into politics.”

“I have always had a lot of respect for individuals like Rotimi Amaechi and others.”

“I have consistently said he has a goal and ambition where he wants to go, and so do I. I have my own ambition and goals.”
