The father of wanted militant, Government Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo is in big trouble. The man called Thomas Ekpemupolo has gone into hiding for days now. Insiders disclosed to us that he escaped into the bush when soldiers invaded his village, Kurutie in Gbaramatu Community, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

We gathered that the soldiers stormed the village at about 4.00am when he was sleeping and took over his home. But the smart old man fled into the bush before the soldiers could pick him up. We were told that the soldiers who came in six gun boats were moving from house to house searching for members of the Niger-Delta Avengers weapons and Tompolo. Sources said Tompolo’s father had not been in public since the invasion and has gone underground for fear of arrest by the soldiers.
