All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has lost the presidential election in Lagos State to the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi.

According to the INEC results Peter Obi polled 582,664 while Tinubu scored 541,850.

However, Tinubu won more local government areas, but Obi defeated him with the majority of the votes cast.

The results of the 20 local governments have been declared and Tinubu won in 11 local governments while Obi won in nine local governments.
