All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was missing as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi signed a peace accord ahead of the 2023 election.

However, Tinubu was represented by his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima at the event that took place at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja on Thursday, September 29th. 2022.

Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso were all present.

Insiders squealed to us that Tinubu could not attend the meeting because he is currently in London.

The peace accord, we gathered was organised by the National Peace Committee led by former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd.) and Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah.
