Consequent to the recent incident between popular singer, generally referred to as Akpako Master, Terry G and Dj Phreez, a trainee DJ under the ace and prolific disk-jockey guru, DJ Jimmy Jatt at an event in Lagos Island where Terry G lose his cool and slapped DJ Phreez for interrupting his music in the heat of his performance.
Be that as it may, the Deejays Association of Nigeria (DJAN), has ordered all Nigerian Disc Jockeys to stop playing all of Terry G’s songs until further notice. In a statement signed by Sebastian Ikpoza (DJ Desert Storm), National Secretary of Deejays Association of Nigeria stated that ‘legal actions are on the way but after wide consultations and deliberations, the Deejays Association of Nigeria hereby place an embargo on all songs of Terry G, audio and video (including songs he featured in) indefinitely in all events, lounges, bar, radio and every other spot where it is the duty of a DJ to play music Nationwide.
