Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho who is 19 years of age celebrated his second son’s 17th birthday recently. In a Facebook post that was immediately deleted, Francis showered words of praises on his son, Michael… “Wow my second son Michael is 17 today. I seek for God’s blessings for him. Daddy loves you boy”.
The goalkeeper, who might have forgotten that he is 19 years old and could not have a second son who is 17years, immediately deleted the post. Social Media users are still pouring in their birthday wishes and wishing Michael that his age doesn’t become static at 19 but grows beyond.
However, Colin Udoh, the former press officer of the Super Eagles, has added his voice to the ongoing controversy over the real age of Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho who claims to be 19 years old.
Udoh took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday June 19th, 2018 to share a picture of Uzoho at 14 in 2013 at the Under 17 camp, adding that looks are not determinants of age. At 19, Uzoho is the youngest player in the 2018 World Cup.
See below as tweeted…
To all you muppets going on about Francis Uzoho’s age, this is what he looked like in 2013 when he was a 14-year-old in the under 17 camp. Feel free to slap some sense into your own heads since looks is now a determinant for age #Team9jaStrong #SoarSuper… https://t.co/f4yU0WSmeK pic.twitter.com/B10YA356ji
