The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun revealed recently that some top bankers have been conniving with ghost workers to defraud the Federal Government of Nigeria and she promised sending them to prison very soon.

The British trained financial expert disclosed that the government has been able to discover 23,000 ghost workers due to the Bank Verification Number (BVN) and Intergrated Payroll Personnel Information System. She added that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will soon be arresting the bankers, firms and others involved in the fraud.
