Popular musician, Skales (John Njenga-Njeng) has reacted to the reports making the rounds that he divorced his wife, Precious Hassanity for mocking his music career.
A social media user (@Verity_HQ) had alleged that the singer said he divorced his wife after she joined people to mock his music career on social media.
The social media user had tweeted allegedly quoting Skales:
“I divorced my wife because of a comment she made on my post and I don’t regret it.”
“When my wife made the comment on my post, I got angry. People cannot be mocking your husband’s music career, the music that is paying your bills and you join them to mock him.”
“She should’ve defended me or, better still, stayed quiet. I wasn’t totally wrong for divorcing her because a woman who doesn’t support your hustle isn’t a good wife.”
Skales in his reaction said:
“This is really evil of you that you would cook up such a story. This is not fair. I have never made such a statement and this is false. Please stop spreading lies.”
For those who don’t know, Skales got married to Precious Hassanity, a chef in September 2021.
