Popular Nigerian singer, Omah Lay has been arrested alongside female singer, Temilade Openiyi a.k.a Tems for flouting Covid-19 guidelines in Uganda.

Omah Lay and Tems have been arraigned before a court in Kampala for disobeying Covid-19 guidelines in Uganda.

According to sources, the duo were arrested together with their managers on Sunday, December 13th, 2020 for holding an illegal concert in Munyonyo, Uganda.

Sources said that the concerts attracted a big crowd which went against the nation’s president’s directives on the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.

Sources added that the organizers of the event disguised the show as a lunch and dinner event which later turned out to be a concert with large crowd in attendance.
